On the MixSSL home page you can filter certificates by brand, validation type (DV, OV, EV), issuance time, wildcard support, and price. Each row shows whether free alternative names are included and how many additional domains you can add.

1. Pick a product that matches your validation needs (most small sites use Domain Validation).
2. Open the product page and select how long you want the certificate to last (term) if several options are offered.
3. If you need more hostnames, set the number of additional names or wildcard options shown on the buy page—only if the product supports them.
4. Review the price in your preferred currency using the currency selector on the site.

When you are ready, proceed to buy. If you are not signed in, you will be asked to log in or register first.

Issuance is typically fast—often within about an hour under normal conditions, and up to one day in the worst case depending on how quickly you complete domain validation and the brand you selected.
